Associate Board Members are volunteers, and they have the same duties and responsibilities with the exception of voting rights. They are part of the Board of Director's succession plan that allows individuals to gain in-depth knowledge of POCU and the business of financial services to prepare for a position as a voting Board Member. 
Some desireable skills include: leadership expertise, general business, accounting/auditing background, public relations, technology, sales and human resource sensitivity.

Kevin Yaeger, president/CEO of Post Office Credit Union in Madison,Wis., has been elected to serve as the new chair of the National Council of Postal Credit Unions' board of directors.
The National Council of Postal Credit Unions is a trade association dedicated to the education and networking of 100+ postal credit unions nationwide.
